The Toyota G Series 4 and 5 speed transmission was engineered and manufactured by Toyota. The transmission are installed behind the 2.0L and 2.2L engines. The G series transmission is end loaded, with an aluminum case and four main bearings. The bearing retainer has eight bolts and a four bolt shift. The front input bearing has an 80mm OD. To assist you Toyota has placed and identification plate on the fire wall of your vehicle, in some cases close to the master cylinder. Check this identification plate for engine size and transmission model, critical when ordering a replacement transmission or repair parts.
